We’re thrilled to announce a truly unique collaboration - and friendship - between renowned pianist-composer Rosey Chan and The Listening Planet.

This ambitious project brings together Rosey’s visionary compositions and the extraordinary field recordings of Martyn Stewart, one of the world’s most celebrated nature sound recordists. Together, they have crafted a transcendent audio experience, where music and the wild voices of our planet intertwine to tell Earth’s story.

Over the next few months, we’ll be releasing a series of tracks that take listeners on a sonic journey across the planet’s biomes - from the serene whispers of forests to the roaring power of oceans. Each piece is meticulously crafted to immerse listeners in Earth’s diverse soundscapes, evoking stillness, wonder, and connection.

The first track, Sacred Circle, debuts on Feb 16 (World Whale Day), featuring the ethereal song of the whale. These majestic creatures have been singing for millions of years, carrying the wisdom of the deep across vast oceans.
